Three ways your business can save this Prime Day

Business Prime members can enjoy deals and more this July 16-17.

Prime Day is almost here. From July 16-17, take advantage of member deals and plenty of opportunities to maximize savings at home and at work. Whether you’re buying for an office of 100 or stocking up for your journey as a small business owner, you won’t want to miss out on a chance to practise smart business buying this Prime Day.

Amazon Business customers with Business Prime can start taking advantage of early deals today. Head over to amazon.ca/primeday to get started.

Not a Business Prime member? Beyond the Prime Day deals that you can take advantage of with your membership, you’ll also have access to benefits designed to drive your business forward. Here are three ways a Business Prime membership can help save your business time and money this Prime Day.

1. Eligible Prime members can get Business Prime Duo free

Whether you’re building your organization from the ground up, navigating a side hustle, or something in between, buying for a small business can be an added stressor for which you simply don’t have time. That’s why we rolled out free Business Prime Duo to Prime members buying for their business. Small business owners can get the best of both worlds at no additional cost, thanks to their ability to separate business purchases from personal ones.

It could be tempting for Prime members to continue using their personal account to make business purchases — especially small business owners or sole proprietors who blur the lines between their work and personal lives. After creating a free Amazon Business account and being verified as a business, Prime customers can sign up for their Business Prime Duo plan. This will add even more business-focused benefits to their business buying experience with Amazon Business, while keeping the already-robust list of Prime perks on their personal Amazon account.

If you’re a small business owner or sole proprietor with an Amazon Business account, but don’t have a Prime or Business Prime membership, it’s easy to benefit from both. Get started by visiting amazon.ca/amazonprime and learn how you can join Amazon Prime. Once you’ve joined, head back to your Amazon Business account and merge your plans.

Current Amazon Business customers who have a personal Prime membership can head to amazon.ca/businessprime to claim their free Duo plan. Not yet an Amazon Business customer? Register your business and sign up for free Duo now.

2. Larger organizations may qualify for an extended free trial

The Business Prime Small, Medium and Enterprise plans all carry additional benefits fit for organizations with multiple users, and administrators seeking more transparency around their procurement practices. As these plans increase in size, so does access to these additional tools. To ensure that these customers have enough time to test their benefits, we’re offering an extended free trial to eligible customers — up to 90 days.

During that time, members on their free trial can start to see some of the reasons why customers get so much value from their plan. According to a 2023 Total Economic Impact (TEI) study that Amazon Business commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct, customers see a 324% return on investment (ROI) over a three-year period, save 1,420 hours annually from procurement activities, and see a 41% increase in time to receive orders.

Customers interviewed and surveyed for the study report that benefits like Guided Buying and Spend Visibility rank among the most impactful for their business when it comes to time and money savings.

Check out the study and get a high-level estimate on how a Business Prime plan could help your team. And if you’re ready to get started, sign up for Business Prime.

3. Fast, FREE shipping

Like your personal Prime membership, Business Prime customers can expect that same familiar shipping experience. Getting your business essentials delivered fast and free means you can spend more time where it counts — on your growing business. Whether you’re a sole proprietor or the owner of a small business where every bit of savings counts, or you’re part of a large organization seeking opportunities to lower costs wherever possible, having shipments arrive when you expect them to can be one of the most valuable aspects of your Business Prime plan.

Early Prime Day deals are available now, all leading up to July 16-17, when your business can really stack its savings. Get started with a new plan today or learn more about your current benefits, like fast, free shipping, convenient business delivery, and more.
